Flooring products in this section are of composite construction often using recycled or natural materials. Their formats are either sheets, tiles or planks and tend to have equivalent or better wear resistances, when maintained correctly, than the natural products they replicate. Frequently referred to as laminates, vinyls or cushion flooring these new modern products are in many instances indistinguishable from the more expensive wood or stone floors.
